This show has got to be one of the best on television right now and does not need a laugh track to make jokes come across clearer. To those who have not seen it yet or are pure haters of that fact that there is a gay couple on the show with a adopted baby; you are missing out. Besides that, Ed O'Neil from Love and Marriage is on the show, that should be enough to just watch right there. I just have a quick summary and some points that happened on last night's episode I'd like to share with you. (here is a clip from another episode that is too funny)
Phil is at the doctor getting a physical, when the doctor scares him a little by telling him he would have to run some tests to see if there is anything wrong with him. Cam and Mitchell come home from a ceremony for Mitchell where he receives a award. Cam puts his award up next to his, but Mitchell took it as more of him trying to put a smaller award next to his big achievement. This, of course, causes hurt feelings for Cam and it takes Mitchell having a conversation with Alex to make him realize how silly he was acting. Manny's real dad comes by to spend some time with Manny. Gloria makes Jay go hang out with them so Jay can keep a eye on Manny and she could go help Haley with her Spanish. Jay is a little jealous of Manny's dad, because him and Manny are starting to establish a great relationship. Phil is still freaking out because he has not heard from the doctor and Claire, being typical Claire, is not buying him being really sick. Also, Luke and the old neighbor next door are really enjoying their friendship and play video games together(too funny).
I will not spoil the rest of it for you, but here are some of my highlights from the episode for me.
1. Phil at the doctor's office was too funny.
2. Cam and Mitchell seem to always have perfect comedic timing in every episode.
3. Alex's side remark in the beginning towards Cam and Mitchell was hilarious.
4. Look at the French Bull Dog when Gloria is explaining something to Jay.....he almost had the same facial expression as him...(I was too weak laughing).
5. Benjamin Bratt(Manny's biological Dad),was a great edition to the show...Plus when he makes his intro to the rest of the family Cam's face and remark was too funny.
6. Jay really touched my heart, when he was explaining why he was jealous of Manny's dad and how he felt about Manny. I always enjoy when they take Jay out of being cynical all the time and make him a real sweet heart.
7. Towards the end when Phil gets the doctor on the phone. He raises his voice for the stupidest thing.
